READ-A-THON: Celebration In Taraba, Nigeria As Asogya James Israel Ends His Journey At 166 Hours.

Just as a Nigerian was breaking the Chess Playing Record in London, a young Nigerian in Taraba State is making his own mark in history as he set out to break the record of longest reading (160hours). He has successfully broken this record and set a new one at 166hours.

There is an ongoing celebration in Wukari LG of Taraba as Asogya James Israel a young man from Taraba State has broken the Guinness World Record for marathon reading done by an individual. 

The Read-A-thon started 7 days ago at the Wukari Library as part of his bid to promote reading culture.

His target was 160 hours but he ended up passing 6 more hours to it.

The former record holder read for 124 hours.
